Projects

Our goals as an organization are to prevent violence amongst young people and increase awareness of the dangers of substance abuse particularly among young people. There is a real need for safe yet fun things for teens to do especially in rural or semi-rural environments. We also understand the importance of educating young people, and we will focus a lot of our energies in this direction as well.

Gabriola Island Skate Park

This is our first official project. It is our goal to raise the necessary funds to complete this project. The land is secured and the red tape has been cleared. Now all that needs to be done is to raise the necessary funds to build a skatepark that we can be proud of. We have completed the process of consulting with the local skate community both young and old to come up with a design plan that will suit all age levels while maintaing a keen eye on safety concerns.
